Review the text before it is illustrated

With Full control you read the story page by page, edit it, and only then is it drawn.

For an important gift or a true story, sometimes you want to read every sentence before anything is drawn. That is what Full control is for. It costs the same as the other modes.

How to turn it on

Choose Full control at /create or, once you are on the portraits screen, turn on the “Read and edit the text before it is illustrated” switch. With the switch on, the main button no longer writes and illustrates the story: it writes only its text.

Your text is ready to review

When the text is written, you get an email and the story opens in the book editor, still without illustrations: each page says “Illustrated once you confirm”. Read it all the way through and change any sentence by typing right on the page.

Ask for a change

If you would rather have cuentosIA rewrite it, each page has “Ask for a change”: describe what you want changed (make the ending happier, have the dog talk less) and see the suggestion before you apply it. Only that page is rewritten. It uses 1 regeneration, and if the change can’t be made, none is used.

If you apply a suggestion and don’t like it, “Undo my changes on this page” brings back the original text.

“Ask for a change” is only there while you review the text. Once the story is illustrated, you change the text by hand in the editor.

Confirm and illustrate

When you are happy with the text, press “I'm satisfied, illustrate”. Then the scenes, the cover and the back cover are drawn. If the text doesn’t fit on a page, the screen warns you before it starts, so you can trim it or go ahead anyway.
