Is it just a children’s book with grown-ups in it?
No. Once you say it’s for an adult, the story is written for adults: a different pace, vocabulary and sense of humor, and the illustrations follow suit.
What if I don’t want it to be funny?
Then it won’t be. You choose the tone from ten themes for adults: romantic, nostalgic, mystery, epic adventure, science fiction, the happy-tears kind… and funny, of course.
Can I keep it a surprise, and how fast is it?
Yes. You create it from your account and it comes to you: the digital story is ready in about 5 minutes, with its PDF and narration by email. A printed copy takes 3–5 business days to print, plus shipping to your address, which you can make faster if you need it sooner.
Can more than one person be in it?
Yes: up to 4 characters in every story you buy, each with their own photo, pets included. Up to 2 in your first, free story.
Do you ship to the US, the UK, Canada and Australia?
Yes. Every copy is printed on demand and shipped to all four, and to other countries too. The price you see already includes shipping to yours.
Is it written in American or British English?
Whichever you prefer: we pick it up from your browser, and you can switch between US and UK English before the story is written.
What if they don’t look like themselves, or I don’t like something?
If a character doesn’t look right, we redo the illustration at no cost. You also read the whole text before it’s illustrated, change what you like, and can regenerate any illustration that doesn’t convince you. The original photo is deleted once the story is finished.
