Can I mix classic characters with my own child or family?
Yes, and that is the most common case. Inside one story you can combine characters created from a photo, characters described with the avatar builder and catalogue characters, up to 4 in total.
Do they always look the same across the illustrations?
Yes. Every catalogue character has a fixed physical description and a reference illustration that is passed to the image engine in each scene, so their face and clothes do not drift between pages.
Can I change how they look or behave?
Not their appearance: catalogue characters come with a closed description so they stay recognisable. What you do decide is the role they play in the story and how they relate to your own characters.
Are there any copyright issues with these characters?
The catalogue is made of public-domain characters: traditional tales, mythology and classic literature. There are no characters from brands or current films.
