The voice is not generic. cuentosIA has voices assigned to 9 regional variants of Spanish and English, so a story written in Mexican Spanish does not sound like one written in Spanish from Spain.

What you get
You listen in the book itself, which turns its own pages as the narration plays. You also get the MP3 to download and every illustration in the story in high resolution, page by page, to keep or print yourself.
If you change the text
If you edit the story after it has been narrated, you can narrate it again from the final screen with 5 of the story's 10 regenerations. Meanwhile, the previous version keeps playing.
What it does not include
It is a voice narration, with no background music and no sound effects. We would rather say so plainly than have you find out on download.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the audiobook?
It depends on the length of the story, which runs from about 150 words in a micro story to more than 2,000 in an extended one. We do not give a fixed figure because we do not measure the duration of the file.
Does it have music or sound effects?
No. It is narration with a professional voice, with no soundtrack and no effects. The delivery follows the tone of each scene, but there are no added audio tracks.
Which language is it narrated in?
In whichever language your story is written. Spanish and English also have voices assigned by regional variant; every other language is narrated with the default voice.
Can I download it and keep it?
Yes. The MP3 downloads from the story's final screen and from your profile. The downloads are yours for good, even if the story stops being available on the site.
Does it cost extra?
No. Narration is included in every story you buy, the Club story too. The gift story comes with its first page narrated; with your first purchase it is narrated in full, and so is every story after it.
What about stories I already had, or translations?
They are not narrated on their own. You can add narration to them separately, from their final screen or from your profile.
