The characters you create are saved in your account with their portrait and description. In the next story you pick them from a list, without describing them again.
The first time you create your daughter in a story there is work involved: uploading a photo or building the avatar, adjusting the description, checking the portrait. That work is not thrown away.
Each character is saved in your account with their illustrated portrait and physical description, and in the next story you pick them from a list in the first step. They come out looking the same as last time.

What is kept of a character once a story is finished.
What is saved and what is not
Saved: the illustrated portrait, the physical description and the details you gave — age, gender, hair and eye colour, personality. Not the original photo: it is deleted as soon as it has been processed, and what travels to the image engine is always the derived illustration, never your photograph.
Managed from your profile
There is a dedicated section where you see all your characters, how many times you have used each one and in which stories. From there you can edit or delete them.
They mix with the catalogue
A saved character counts as one more within the limit of 4 per story, and can be combined with brand-new characters and with the classic catalogue ones.
Frequently asked questions
Is my photo stored?
No. The photo is used to generate the illustrated portrait and deleted afterwards. What stays in your account is the illustration, not the photograph.
Can I edit a saved character?
Yes, from the characters section of your profile. You can change their description, redo their portrait or delete them. Characters from the cuentosIA catalogue cannot be edited.
Will they look exactly the same in the new story?
Yes, as long as you do not edit them: their portrait and description are reused, and those are exactly what fixes their appearance in each illustration.
How many characters can I save?
There is no limit on saved characters. The limit is per story: at most 4 characters in one story.
