The sequel to a story that already worked
If a story landed, the next one starts from it: the same characters, the same style and the same format, with a new adventure.

When a story works, what you want is not just another story: you want that story again, taken a little further. The same heroes, the same world, a new adventure.
In cuentosIA a continuation is made by reusing the characters you already have saved and telling it what happens next. Everything that defined the previous story — illustration style, book type, page count, tone, language — you choose again the same way, or change if you want to.

What a continuation inherits from the original story when you accept a proposal by email.
How it is done today
You start a new story, pick your saved characters in the first step and describe where the story goes from here. The characters come out looking exactly as they did in the original, because their portrait and description are reused.
Sequel proposals by email
If you have already created a story and opted in to hear from us, you may receive a sequel proposal built from your own story, with its title and premise. That email carries a link that copies the original story’s settings and leaves the draft ready for you to review.
It is a proposal we send, not a button you can press whenever you like: you do not need to wait for it to create a continuation yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Can I create a continuation whenever I want?
Yes, by starting a new story and choosing your saved characters. What is not available on demand is the automatic sequel proposal: that reaches you by email if you are a customer and have opted in to hear from us.
Do the characters look the same as in the first story?
Yes, if you pick them from your saved characters: their portrait and physical description are reused, and those are what fix their appearance in the illustrations.
Do I have to use the same illustration style?
No. You can keep it so the collection looks uniform, or change it completely. The characters stay recognisable in any of the styles.
Does a continuation use a credit?
Yes, it is a new story and uses a credit like any other. If you are a Club member it comes out of your monthly credit.
