One clear photo of each of you where the face is visible is enough. If you have one together, better. From there the characters are created and the two of you appear in every illustration.
That is the usual case. You write the moments, approve the pages and decide how to show it: on your phone, printed, or with the audiobook playing.
The ones you would tell a friend: how you met, the first date, the story that still makes you laugh, the proposal and what came after. Four or five moments already give the book a spine.
