118 gsm coated paper

Heavier than printer paper (75–80 gsm) and smooth, so the ink sits on the surface and the colour comes out crisp.

Premium colour

The whole book is printed in full colour at premium quality, the printer’s range made for illustrated books.

Double-page illustrations

Each scene fills a double page: one panoramic illustration that runs to the edge of the paper, with the text over its lightest part.

Enlarged for print

Before printing, we enlarge every illustration with AI: to twice the resolution in A5 and up to 2.5 times in A4, so it looks sharp on paper.

Laminated cover

Matte or gloss, as you prefer. The softcover is flexible and saddle-stitched; the hardcover is rigid board wrapped in the cover art, with a spine.

Checked before printing

We check your order by hand before sending it to the printer. We email you when it goes to press and when it ships, with the tracking number if the carrier provides one.
